A slice of humanity Restored

I was just invovled in my first purchase on E-bay, it wasn't very cut and dry though, I just happened to go on line and I put motorcycle sidecar in my search engine, and wow a site popped up with a picture of a beautiful Electric blue California sidecar Harley-Davidson color combination that just happens to match my Harley Davidson Electra-glide Classic, this find got more interesting when it turned out that this was built for a 1997 Harley, WOW  this is the same year as my bike , here was the kicker starting bid was $ 1500.00 , that is where my jaw dropped .    I have been looking on and off for and at a  sidecars for few years , you see my son is  autistic and would never sit still on the back of my full dress Harley, and I knew this would be the chance to share my love for the open road and the  scenic highways of Minnesota and western Wisconsin with my only child , let me tell you he loves four-wheeling, and he likes the wind in his hair , well my wife and I have have done a good bit of traveling on the motorcycle, been to number of bike rallies in different states including Sturgis and Myrtle Beach bike weeks, and we always had to leave our beautiful son Jack home with his Guardian Angel  my mother .    Well my mother God  bless her soul, just recently passed away ,  and this spurred my search for the sidecar again.     Well here we go , I put a few bids in and didn't meet the reserve price on the sidecar , I decided to E-mail the owner and ask what was the minimum bid for the sidecar and he promptly sent back that he needed $ 2000.00 ,  for it , so fine , I put in $2000 , it came up , I was the high bidder , I knew this was an excellent price on this sidecar because I have looked at the exact model in the past and my only hope to try and find a used one , and this fit the bill, I was prepared to go higher by a little bit and my high bid held until a few minutes before the close the the real bidding started, well what I thought was real  bidding you see I was typing in one bid at a time and somebodies auto-bidder was on the other end, it went up in $25 increments when the last auto bid hit $2325 well I accidently typed in $2250 , instead of $2350, I backed spaced quick as could and re-typed the right price and one second before I hit send bidding closed, I had lost a chance to spend countless hours enjoying riding the Harley with my son , well it really wasn't the only chance but at the time I was really bummed out, I was pumped for this one in million chance at aquiring a personal dream for my son and me.    Well I took a chance and E-mailed the owner and told him a little of my story that I have told you , and told him that if something happened    I was still interested , well I do not know what happened , but last night I got second chance offer from E-bay on the sidecar and a E-mail from one hell of nice guy named Jason  well I jumped on the second chance, and since talked to Jason after my bid was accepted and my deposit was secured through E-bay, well my short story touched Jason and his wife and they were very glad I was able to purchase the sidecar ,I think they actually were cheering for me to get it .   Well I am now a HAPPY OWNER OF DREAM COME TRUE, please move over Cinderella, and thanks to Jason his wife and Ebay for helping this come to reality.  I am sorry to ever reads this and thinks I am big sap , but I am a  big dumb poor Republican  happy as pig in slop with my small loving family loving and getting a new sidecar (well a ten year old sidecar) to share more time with my son.                devotedly yours Unionpuke    PS hey I have a good   for creating more union jobs build more refineries and power plants wow that would put a few union men to work wouldn't now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
